Review: Urban Decay De Slick setting spray

Urban Decay De Slick setting spray
(new packaging)
$29.00
4.0 fl. oz.

I've been using the Urban Decay De Slick setting spray for about a year now and I absolutely love it. The De Slick spray is great for people have oily skin. This is provide a shield over your make-up to help keep it in place all day and to prevent your skin from becoming too oily. It is also great by itself. On days you don't feel like wearing make-up, but don't want your skin to become shiny from excess oil, just spray the De Slick on your face and it will keep your skin looking matte all day. It is recommended that you apply this before and after putting on your make-up and to spray 2-4 times in a X and T motion. There have been days when I have forgotten to put this on while doing my make-up and that's when I realize how much of a difference this product really makes. My foundation stays matte all day long and continues to look fresh and in place all day long. I can't go a day with out using this product anymore. It is now a "holy-grail" product for me.

Christmas Haul! (some of my favorite things)

iPhone 5
I was so excited to get the iPhone 5! I had the 3GS which was alright, but I had an upgrade available so I was able to get the iPhone 5 for a decent price. I've been loving it so far. The screen and color quality is so amazing compared to the 3G! And the camera quality is awesome! I love everything about this phone.

Miss Dior perfume
I was not expecting to get this for Christmas, just because it is a ridiculously expensive perfume. But I absolutely love the smell. It is a very mature scent with a hint of vanilla. Definitely my new fav!

American Eagle Jeans- Dark Denim and Mint
I love American Eagle jeans! They fit well and are great quality. I especially like them, because they are the only jeans I don't have to cuff at the bottom. I have short legs, so finding jeans that aren't extremely long is very rare. I got a dark denim pair as well as mint, which will be perfect for the spring time :)

Sigma Brushes: (from left to right) E20, E25, F25, and F84
Sigma brushes are my absolute favorite brushes. There extremely reasonable in price and have amazing quality. I first tried Sigma brushes last year and have been hooked ever since. I can't wait to try out these new brushes!

BH Cosmetics: (From top to bottom) Party Girl palette and Blush palette
I was so happy to get these two palettes! I have the contour/blush palette as well as the 28 neutrals palette and love the quality. I can't wait to play with all the fun colors in the Party Girl palette and try out different color blushes.

Black Wedges from Pac Sun
I had been looking for a pair of shoes like this for a while and had to buy them for myself when I saw them at Pac Sun. I am so in love with these shoes. There so cute on and fairly comfortable. So happy that I finally got them :))

Please feel free to subscribe! :)

Naked vs. Naked 2

I got the Naked palette by Urban Decay about eight months ago and then two months ago I got the Naked 2 palette! I absolutely fell in love with the first palette as soon as I got it in the mail. I've used the Naked palette every day since I got it. I just love how versatile the palette is. You can easily create an everyday look using some of the lighter more neutral shades or you can spice up your makeup for a night out using the sultry more dramatic shades. What I love most about the Naked palette is that it comes with a light brown matte shadow, which is actually called "Naked. It's the perfect shadow to help transition your crease color in to your highlight color. The palette also comes with two really pretty highlight colors, five gorgeous crease colors as well as five lid colors. So you can really create any look with all those colors.

Moving right along to the Naked 2 palette!! When I first saw all the colors in this palette I was so excited! I completely fell in love with all of the earth toned and taupe shadows. If you know me, you know that I am always wearing some find of neutral eye. I like to play it safe when it comes to shadows and I just feel like neutral colors are more flattering on me. So what I love about the Naked 2 palette is that every shadow is wearable for everyday, even the matte black, because you can use it to set your eyeliner which is something that I like doing. My favorite shadow out of this palette is surprisingly "Tease". Its like the most plain shadow out of the whole palette but I just think it is the most perfect crease color! I really love to pair "Verve" and "Tease" together. They compliment each other so nicely. I also really love that the Naked 2 palette came with a matte highlight color. Its hard to find matte highlight colors and I've been wanting one for a while now and "Foxy" is exactly the color shadow I've been looking for.

So overall I would definitely recommend both palettes to anyone and think that there both palettes that everyone needs in their make-up collection. However, I would have to say that the Naked 2 palette is my favorite. I just love how wearable every color is for a day time look and a night time look. I feel like all the shadows you can wear during the day, where as the first Naked palette I feel like there are darker colors that are harder to pull off for day time looks.

Feel free to comment below telling me which palette you prefer and what colors are your favorite! :) Thanks so much for checking out my blog and please feel free to follow me!

My Top 5 Winter Fashion Must Haves

1. Hats
I love wearing hats in the winter time! They keep your head so warm and can easily turn a bad hair day into a fashion success! My favorite type of hat to wear would definitely be a beret.

2. Tights/ Leggings
Now I know theres a lot of people out there who hate leggings but I personally love them! I think there so comfy and you can totally dress them up or down, and they keep your legs very warm. I also love pairing a cute pair of detailed tights with some jean shorts, that way you can keep wearing your cute summer shorts all year long.

3. Boots
Boots are the perfect shoe choice for winter because they protect your feet from the rain. I love pairing ankle boots with tights or leggings and taller boots with a cute pair of skinny jeans. I love that there are many styles of boots. From casual to dressy, your bound to find the perfect boot for any outfit.

4. Scarves
I absolutely love scarves! What I love most about them is not the fact that they keep your neck so warm, but that you can wear any plain old top and jeans and once you put a scarf on it completely transforms your whole outfit. I love that theres many different styles of scarves and different ways of wearing them.

5. Jackets/ Sweaters
This is probably an obvious must have for the winter time, but my jacket style must have would have to be a leather jacket and peacoat. I love how classic and elegant pea coats are and how edgy a leather jacket is. I would definitely say a leather jacket would fall more towards a fashion coat just because they don't tend to be the warmest jacket, at least from my experience. The peacoat, however, can keep you very warm and feel so comfortable. Just pair it with a scarf, boots, leggings, and a hat and you've got yourself a complete winter outfit :)

Product Review: NYC Liquid Liner

                                                       N.Y.C. Liquid Eyeliner
                                                                      $2.99
                                                 Available at most drug stores
                                                               5mL. 0.17 fl oz.

So, I've had this liner for about a year and I just can't find anything I like about it. This products claims to have a "deep and strong color", which it does, however its very shiny and I prefer to have a matte finish when it comes to eyeliners. It also says that it is a "fast-drying, smudge-resistant formula." Which I can definitely say it is, because it doesn't smudge, it flakes! It'll last about an hour before it starts to flake on you. But then again it is only a $3 product. The product claims to have skin conditioning ingredients, but I've never noticed anything "conditioning" about the product. I've actually found it to be drying considering how hard and flakey it becomes on the eyelid. It has a brush applicator which I find harder to get a clean line with compared to a felt-tip applicator. So, over all I would not recommend this product to anyone. Unless of course you like flakey eyeliners.

I give this product a 1 out 5
