My Top 5 Winter Fashion Must Haves

1. Hats
I love wearing hats in the winter time! They keep your head so warm and can easily turn a bad hair day into a fashion success! My favorite type of hat to wear would definitely be a beret.

2. Tights/ Leggings
Now I know theres a lot of people out there who hate leggings but I personally love them! I think there so comfy and you can totally dress them up or down, and they keep your legs very warm. I also love pairing a cute pair of detailed tights with some jean shorts, that way you can keep wearing your cute summer shorts all year long.

3. Boots
Boots are the perfect shoe choice for winter because they protect your feet from the rain. I love pairing ankle boots with tights or leggings and taller boots with a cute pair of skinny jeans. I love that there are many styles of boots. From casual to dressy, your bound to find the perfect boot for any outfit.

4. Scarves
I absolutely love scarves! What I love most about them is not the fact that they keep your neck so warm, but that you can wear any plain old top and jeans and once you put a scarf on it completely transforms your whole outfit. I love that theres many different styles of scarves and different ways of wearing them.

5. Jackets/ Sweaters
This is probably an obvious must have for the winter time, but my jacket style must have would have to be a leather jacket and peacoat. I love how classic and elegant pea coats are and how edgy a leather jacket is. I would definitely say a leather jacket would fall more towards a fashion coat just because they don't tend to be the warmest jacket, at least from my experience. The peacoat, however, can keep you very warm and feel so comfortable. Just pair it with a scarf, boots, leggings, and a hat and you've got yourself a complete winter outfit :)

Product Review: NYC Liquid Liner

                                                       N.Y.C. Liquid Eyeliner
                                                                      $2.99
                                                 Available at most drug stores
                                                               5mL. 0.17 fl oz.

So, I've had this liner for about a year and I just can't find anything I like about it. This products claims to have a "deep and strong color", which it does, however its very shiny and I prefer to have a matte finish when it comes to eyeliners. It also says that it is a "fast-drying, smudge-resistant formula." Which I can definitely say it is, because it doesn't smudge, it flakes! It'll last about an hour before it starts to flake on you. But then again it is only a $3 product. The product claims to have skin conditioning ingredients, but I've never noticed anything "conditioning" about the product. I've actually found it to be drying considering how hard and flakey it becomes on the eyelid. It has a brush applicator which I find harder to get a clean line with compared to a felt-tip applicator. So, over all I would not recommend this product to anyone. Unless of course you like flakey eyeliners.

I give this product a 1 out 5

Product Review: Benefit Bad gal Lash

"Sexy, sultry, pure unadulterated black mascara for full, voluminous lashes. It's as BAD as you want to be! Famously big, bodacious brush coats lashes with our super black formula."--Benefit

Benefit Bad gal Lash
$19
Available at Sephora, Ulta,  and Benefit counters
8.5 g Net wt 0.3 oz

My mom gave me this mascara to try about 2 and a half months ago and I was really excited to try it because I love any volumizing mascaras. The first thing I noticed and instantly fell in love with, was the size of the brush. It's the largest mascara brush I've ever seen and used; which is great for achieving thick and bold lashes. The consistency of this mascara is dry and thick, which is great to really helps define your lashes and create a thicker lash line. The thing I dislike the most about this product is how fast the formula becomes flakey. By the end of the day I notice little flakes of mascara under my eyes :/ Which I really don't want from a high-end mascara! I also wish Benefit would have created more colors of this mascara, because I know some people may prefer brown mascaras over black. But over all I can say I would consider re-purchasing this product because it does do a great job making my lashes look fuller and bold. :)

First Product Review: Naked Palette by Urban Decay

So, I recently purchased the Naked Palette by Urban Decay and I can already tell you it's a new "holy grail" product for me. The palette comes with 12 eye-shadows, Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, and Gunmetal.

The palette is $48, which is actually a pretty good deal considering they give you the same amount of product as an individual eye shadow from Urban Decay which costs $17! It also includes a travel size Urban Decay Primer Potion as well as a shadow brush. What I love most about the palette, besides the fact that all the colors are very pigmented, is that it doesn't just consist of browns. They include a gorgeous sparkly black (Creep) and metallic grey (Gunmetal). I also love how they have red-toned browns as well as yellow based browns. I would definitely suggest this product for anyone who enjoys creating neutral looks as well as a smokey eye using dark browns and black.

5 out of 5 rating :)
